Introduction
In a web page you should encounter spiders, and so I will
not disappoint you. In my web and in my classes, I will encourage all who
enter to imitate the subtle spinnings of Walt Whitmans Noiseless patient
spider.
And you O my soul
where you stand, Surrounded, detached, in measureless oceans of space,
Ceaselessly musing, venturing, throwing, seeking the spheres to Connect them,
Till the bridge you will need be formd, till the ductile anchor hold, Till
the gossamer thread you fling catch somewhere, O my soul.
You will need to spin your own webs, and
create your own anchors, but I will be here to guide you all the way.
In my classes, everyone is a potential A, but most do not
reach that potential. Try not to be one of them. To help you reach your
potential, I have included on this web page not only the daily assignments
but crucial study questions and detailed descriptions of the writing
assignments. I have also provided you with links to useful sites on the web.
All you need to do now is to ceaselessly muse and venture.
