ITE 115-08H [Introduction to Computer Concepts and
Applications] (Hybrid:
Classroom and Blackboard)

Prerequisite: MTH 03.
Provides a working introduction to microcomputer
software, fundamentals, and applications. Includes operating systems, word
processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Lecture 3 hours per week. 3 Semester Credits.
(Combination of classroom
instruction and Blackboard as the virtual classroom
software. Enter the classroom and use your Blackboard user name and password.)
Classroom meetings: Monday and Wednesday, Room 742, 12:00pm-12:50pm. Friday
online using Blackboard.

ITE 140-01H [Spreadsheet Software] (Classroom)
- Prerequisite: ITE 115. Covers the
use of spreadsheet software to create spreadsheets with formatted cells and
cell ranges, control pages, multiple sheets, charts, and macros. Topics
include typing and editing text in cells; entering data on multiple
worksheets; working with formulas and functions; creating charts, pivot
tables, and styles; inserting headers and footers; and filtering data.
Covers MOS Excel objectives. Lecture 3 hours per week. 3 Semester Credits.

ITE 160-01H [Introduction to E-Commerce
(Classroom)
- Prerequisite: ENG 05. Studies the
culture and demographics of the Internet, on-line business strategies and
the hardware and software tools necessary for Internet commerce. Includes
the identification of appropriate target segments, the development of
product opportunities, pricing structures, distribution channels over the
Internet, and the execution of marketing strategy in computer-mediated
environments. Presents case histories of successful Web applications.
Lecture 3 hours per week.

ITP 112-D01 [Visual Basic .NET I] (Distance
Learning using Blackboard)
- Concentrates instruction in
fundamentals of object-oriented programming using Visual Basic.NET and the
.NET framework. Emphasizes program construction, algorithm development,
coding, debugging, and documentation of graphical user interface
applications. Lecture 3 hours per week. 3 Semester Credits.

ITP 251-40H [Systems Analysis and Design]
(Hybrid: Classroom and Blackboard)
- Focuses on application of
information technologies (IT) to system life cycle methodology, systems
analysis, systems design, and system implementation practices. Includes
methodologies related to identification of information requirements,
feasibility in the areas of economic, technical and social requirements, and
related issues. Software applications may be used to enhance student skills.
Lecture 3 hours per week. 3 Semester Credits.
