In the Summer 2000 term, students in English 111, Computer-Mediated Composition produced web folios including all nine of their writing projects. Some of the writings are personal (an introductory biography, a personal essay on a topic of the student's choice, and a metaphoric description of the student's own writing process), professional (a career inventory description, a career field analysis, and an interview with a professional in the student's field of study), and academic (a description of the VARK learning preferences experience, a summary of advice on analyzing on-line academic resources, and an analysis of periodicals related to the student's major or desired profession).

The results are outstanding! I particularly like the way that some of the web folios have been organized and designed, so check out those with a star [] especially. The student's major or field of study is indicated.
