Readings "Take-Home" Test

In Summer 2000, students in English 111, Computer-Mediated Communication researched the communication skills that are most important in the professions that they wish to go into.  These skills included reading and researching, formal and informal oral presentations, various types of writing, listening, and computer use.  Take the link below to the index of their papers, and use their essays to answer the following questions.  If you wish to answer the questions on the computer, launch Microsoft Word and open a new Word document.  Then go back to Netscape Navigator and highlight the questions below.  While highlighted, use the "copy" command in Navigator's "edit" menu; then switch back to MS Word and click on the "paste" command.  If you do not wish to use the computer for this take-home test, you may write the answers legibly on notebook paper.

All questions will be answered in complete, gramatically correct sentences, except for question #5, which is multiple choice.

While this is a "take-home" test, you may also use class time to access the readings and work on the answers.
