Do you need good communication skills to succeed in the profession you wish to enter? That was a question which the students in English 111, Computer-Mediated Composition, in 2000 and 2001, answered for themselves by interviewing a professional in their field of study, someone who has a job that they aspire to hold someday. I was not surprised by the answers. The field of the interviewee is indicated next to the writer's name.
