ITD 110 : WEB PAGE DESIGN I(replaces IST 129)

(3 credits) Prerequisite(s): ITE 115.

Stresses a working knowledge of web site designs, construction, and management using HTML or XHTML. Includes headings, lists, links, images, image maps, tables, forms, and frames. Lecture 3 hours per week.

ITD 132 : STRUCTURED QUERY LANGUAGE(replaces IST 148)

(3 credits) Prerequiste(s): ITE 150.

Incorporates a working introduction to commands, functions and operators used in SQL for extracting data from standard databases. Lecture 3 hours per week.

ITD 210 : WEB PAGE DESIGN II(replaces IST 226)

(3 credits) Prerequiste(s): ITD 110.

Incorporates advanced techniques in web site planning, design, usability, accessibility, advanced site management, and maintenance utilizing web editor software(s). Lecture 3 hours per week.

ITD 220 : E-COMMERCE ADMINISTRATION(replaces IST 211)

(3 credits) Prerequiste(s): ITE 115, ITE 160. Emphasizes techniques to plan and to design a platform-independent commerce Web site.

Focuses on web business strategies, and the hardware and software tools necessary for Internet commerce, including comparison and selection of commerce architecture, installation and configuration, security considerations, and planning of a complete business-to-consumer and business-to-business site. Lecture 3 hours per week.

ITD 250 : DATABASE ARCHITECTURE AND ADMINISTRATIONN (replaces IST 234)

(3 credits) Prerequiste(s): ITD 132 or department approval.

Involves in-depth instruction about the underlying architecture of databases and the handling of database administration. Lecture 3 hours per week.

ITD 256 : ADVANCED DATABASE MANAGEMENT(replaces IST 232)

(3 credits) Prerequisite(s): ITE 100, ITE 150.

Focuses in-depth instruction in the handling of critical tasks of planning and implementing large databases. Includes an introduction to concepts of advanced data warehousing and database configuration. Lecture 3 hours per week.
