Degrees and Certificates Offered
     
GER 101-102 : BEGINNING GERMAN I-II
(4 credits/4 credits) Must be taken in sequence. Prerequisite(s): ENG 03, ENG 05 if required by individual student’s placement.
Introduces understanding, speaking, reading, and writing skills and emphasizes basic German sentence structures. Lecture 4 hours per week. May include one additional hour of oral practice per week.
GER 201-202 : INTERMEDIATE GERMAN I-II
(4 credits/4 credits) Must be taken in sequence. Prerequisite(s): GER 102 or equivalent.
Continues to develop understanding, speaking, reading, and writing skills. German is used in the classroom. Lecture 4 hours per week. May include one additional hour of oral practice per week.
